We are pleased to invite you to an event to mark the publication of Sovereignty and Religious Freedom: A Jewish History by Simon Rabinovitch (Stotsky Associate Professor of Jewish Historical and Cultural Studies, Northeastern University). Rabinovitch undertakes a comparative legal history of Jewish sovereignty and religious freedom, illuminating the surprising ways that collective and individual rights have evolved over the past two centuries.
Assaf Likhovski (Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv University) and Eyal Chowers (Faculty of Social Sciences, Tel Aviv University) will offer their comments after the presentation.
