About the event

Lots of reports and statistics have been adduced in recent years to support claims for antisemitism’s

spread in democratic societies generally as well as in several specific institutional contexts. Lots of

arguments and evidence have also been advanced in recent years to demonstrate claims about a decline

in democracy’s sustaining institutions and values. How are these two claims and the phenomena to

which they point related to each other? Is their concurrence in contemporary public discourse

accidental? Or is there some empirical or conceptual link between them? If they are linked, is their
