We are happy to announce that the recordings of two lectures by Franklin Foer, distinguished staff writer at The Atlantic and former editor of The New Republic.
In the first public lecture, Foer examines how rising antisemitism from both the right and left threatens to end an unprecedented era of Jewish American safety and prosperity—and potentially unravel the liberal order they helped create. The lecture is based on Foer's widely-discussed article "The Golden Age of American Jews is Over." His analysis is followed by responses from two leading scholars: Prof. Hana Wirth-Nesher (Tel Aviv University) and Prof. Eli Lederhendler (Hebrew University of Jerusalem) The symposium is moderated by Prof. Julie Cooper, Director of the Stephen Roth Institute for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism and Racism.
In the second talk, Franklin Foer gave a public lecture about President Biden's foreign policy legacy.
